The car rental stations at Nice Airport are located in the arrivals halls at the two passenger terminal buildings.
However, at Terminal 2 there is an actual Car Rental Centre, where customers can collect their keys, documents and rented car.
The Car Rental Centre is manned from early in the morning to 10.00 pm at night. At Terminal 1 customers should head to the Europcar Nice Airport’s rental desk at Gates A1 and A2, which are located to the right of the information desk. At Terminal 2 passengers with an advance car rental booking or those wishing to hire a vehicle should go to Gates A2 and A3, where the Europcar Nice Airport rental station is located.
The two passenger terminals are connected via a free shuttle bus which operates daily between the hours of 06.00 am and 11.00 pm, leaving every 6.5 minutes. At night time, during 4.30 am and 06.00 am and from 11.00 pm onwards until the last incoming flight of the night, the shuttle bus runs just every 10 minutes.
To reach the actual Car Rental Centre customers must take the shuttle bus at Terminal 2, Gate 3 and follow the signposts to car park P5 on foot. The designated footpath leads customers directly to the Car Rental Centre, where vehicles can be collected and returned to at the end of the hire contract. This Car Rental Centre can be found directly behind car park P5.

The company has a great choice of cars at competitive prices. Booking online and in advance is always cheaper than hiring at the airport on the day of arrival. An advance reservation also avoids disappointment on the day, if a customer wanted to hire a particular make or model. Europcar operates one of the greenest and eco-friendly fleets in the world and all vehicles displayed online have an eco-friendly rating according to their carbon emissions. This allows customers to make an informed choice about the type of car they hire.
All the vehicle’s most important characteristics are given in a brief description that shows how much room there is for passenger and luggage, what extras might come as part of the rental package and, of course, what price will be charged for the chosen rental period.

For slightly more space but still at a very affordable rate there are cars like the Peugeot 207, a 5-door vehicle with manual transmission, air conditioning and unlimited mileage that can be driven by motorists aged 18 and over, too. The car has room for up to 5 passengers and 2 pieces of luggage.
Also in the Economy class is the Volkswagen Polo diesel, a very economical and easy to drive car ideal for younger drivers.
