There are several car rental stations for well known suppliers at Nice Airport. Their hire desks are situated in the arrivals halls in both passenger terminals. Pick up and return of rental cars takes place at Terminal 2’s very own Car Rental Centre. Here customers can collect their keys and documents. Their chosen vehicle will be shown to them by a Sixt service team member.
The Terminal 2 Car Rental Centre opens early every morning and closes at 10.00 pm. At Terminal 1 the Sixt Nice Airport hire desk is located at Gates A1 and A2, which is actually just to the right of the information desk. The AutoRoute A8 links Nice and the other towns and resorts at the Côte d’Azur and driving to Nice should not take more than 20 minutes or so.
At Terminal 2 Sixt customers with an advance booking should go to Gates A2 and A3, where the rental desk can be found. From there customers will be given instructions how to reach the Car Rental Centre.
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport has two passenger terminals, which are connected via a free shuttle bus service. The shuttle operates every day of the year between the hours of 06.00 am and 11.00 pm, leaving at 6.5 minute intervals during those hours. During the hours of 4.30 am and 06.00 am and from 11.00 pm onwards the free shuttle bus operates at 10 minutes intervals.
Sixt customers should board the shuttle at Terminal 2, Gate 3 and follow the signposting to parking lot P5. The rental stations are located right behind this car park. At the end of the hire contract the vehicle must be returned to the Car Rental Centre at Terminal 2.
Customers can contact Sixt Nice Airport by telephoning the rental desks at either passenger terminals or by visiting the company’s website:

Drivers must be at least 21-years-old and over to rent a car from Sixt. They must also have held their driving license for at least one full year to hire such a vehicle.
